Back from Cornwall

Mevagissey, to be exact   My second home, lol.  I can’t think of a more perfect place to live.  We had great weather, though there were a couple of foggy nights.  The first pic is the inner harbour, the second is the lighthouse at the end of the outer harbour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We spent the first night in Looe.  We thought we’d buy chips and wander down to the beach in the evening, it’ll be nice and quiet, right?  Wrong!!!  We found ourselves in the middle of a MUSIC FESTIVAL so we walked over to the bar and bought beer.  Well, it would’ve been rude not to join in, wouldn’t it?!

We’ve seen dolphins and seals before (in Newquay and St Ives) but this year we saw basking sharks, it was great to see them in the wild.  Unfortunately we didn’t manage to get any photos   We tried but their fins are in and out of the water so fast it’s almost impossible to get a picture.  You’ll have to make do with a couple of starfish and a hermit crab we found in the rock pools in Charlestown!
