Back To Normal

Mr MB went back to work yesterday. The house is quiet, just the way I like it 😀 I DO like being out and about when he’s off work, I especially like visiting zoos and farms (have you noticed?!!) but it gets a bit manic when it’s every day. There’s no time to sit and crochet or read, the garden is neglected and the house gets in a mess. I don’t like doing housework much, but I can’t relax when it’s not done. So I whizzed around yesterday, tidying and cleaning.

It’s now 8.30am, the manic morning rush is over – breakfasts eaten, tea and coffee drunk, flasks and travel mugs filled.  The chickens have been let out for the day and Maisie has been given her antibiotics (egg problems and a swollen tummy). The humans have gone to work and the chickens are scratching around in the garden.  All I have to do is shower and get dressed. Then I’m going to think up some projects for this little lot.

I love the colors! Some times I just look at my yarn and then let my fingers tell me what to do.

I buy them just because I like them then have no idea what to make! My nan asked for a blanket – in colours I’m already using to make a blanket, so I’m still waiting for inspiration for everything else, lol

I know what you mean about the housework – I can’t settle to do anything if my house isn’t more or less clean and tidy.

I wouldn’t mind if it was all my mess, but it isn’t! The MB family rush about getting ready for work then run out the door, I look around and see what they’ve left behind and just groan 😀
