Tomatoes And Basil

My camera needs a proper repair. I thought it’d just got a bit damp so I left it in a tub of rice for a few days to dry out, but it still won’t work properly. I’ve been using my phone but the photos are either too dark or a bit too bright. I also keep forgetting to charge it. When I DO remember, I plug it in, write a list of things I want to take pictures of in the garden, then it rains šŸ˜€ I’m not a fan of mobile phones ā€“ I hate that people think they should be able to contact you at all times, and if you don’t reply to a text within five seconds of receiving it then you are a truly evil person. So the thing lives in the cupboard, out of sight – and uncharged šŸ˜€

Ripe tomatoes! I’m not too impressed with the plum tomatoes, they haven’t got a lot of flavour. The Moneymakers and Golden Sunrise are very tasty, the cherry toms aren’t bad but I wish we’d given more greenhouse space to the other varieties.

More tomatoes!

I’m keeping one pot of basil on the go and freezing the leaves, the other has been left to flower so we can collect the seeds ready for next year.
